Our county has a #leashlaw, and since our yard is unfenced, we clip on a #leash almost every time we take #Buddy and #Molly outside. Our favorite is the FLEXI retractable leash.

Eventually, even a well-made leash, like the #FLEXI, wears out. I like to have a replacement on hand so I don’t have to wait for delivery of a new one, or pay the regular price when I need it.

I can apply the brakes on the German-made #FLEXI leash with the press of a button. If I choose to keep the dogs on a short leash, I can set it to my desired length. It isn’t difficult to hold two leashes in one hand.

These Dog Sunglasses for large and medium breeds sure do look cute on Buddy. I like them because you get two pairs for under $20, one dark lense and one clear lense. I like to have him wear them when we go out on the boat. Unlike a lot of dogs, Buddy doesn’t like the wind blowing in his face, and the glasses help.

The Answer for #DirtyDogs: Magic Sponge Eraser

No hype. The Magic Sponge Eraser really does work like magic!

My dogs left a streak of dirt about 18 inches high on the hallway wall. Ugg. It was embarrassing. Here’s a picture:

Then I dampened a #MagicEraser sponge with water and began to wipe. The wall was so dirty I had to rinse the sponge several times. But it really did work like magic. Here is the after photo:

You can see the wall is still a little damp in some places, but the dirt is gone! No harsh chemicals. (I will have to get a little mud to smooth over the gouge left by the HVAC workers.) To clean the sponge, I rinsed it with a dab of dish soap, and it is good to use again!

My Fishing Buddy

I use a compressed air vest like the Onyx, because it is #cooler in the summer and less bulky than the traditional #lifejacket. When you go out fishing, you never think an accident will put you in the water. But I’ve seen too many #fail videos where that happens. A little precaution will make sure Buddy and I both come home #safe.
